Dog Safety & Children
77% of dog bites in children are caused by family dogs or other dogs that are known to the child. One of my goals as a Dog Training Professional is to teach children, and their parents’, proper safety around pets to make sure this never happens!
Even a dog that has always been great around children can lash out due to any number of reasons. Teaching kids dog body language and to respect a dog’s space is an excellent way to ensure dog bites are significantly reduced. Making it fun with songs, videos and cartoons is my goal to focus on staying safe, without making it scary!

Dogs That Jump Up or Strange Dogs Approaching We teach children to Be A Tree! PLEASE NOTE: I always tell kids to fold their branches INWARDS. Basically to fold their arms and tuck their hands under their elbows. That way the dog is less likely to try to look for something in their hands :) Be a Tree Video Demo |
