Amanda Hamilton, BSc, KPA-CTP, FDM Owner & Head Coach
Amanda has been helping people and their dogs in one way or another since 2003. Amanda started her professional life with animals as a BC SPCA Animal Care Worker and worked in various animal related roles from vet hospitals to owning her own pet store and dog daycare business from 2007 to 2022.
Amanda's passion for dog training really took off in 2016 when she brought home Polly, a Border Collie with anxiety issues and noise sensitivity. Amanda's quest to find effective solutions for Polly led her to become a certified dog trainer with Karen Pryor Academy. She then progressed to more in depth behaviour programs, completing Dr Susan Friedman's Living and Learning with Animals course and IAABCs Principles & Practices program. After interning with Ren Epp and Jeanne Shaw at Love 2 Play, Amanda started running and creating her own training and coaching programs through In Tuition Animal Training & Behaviour. Amanda enjoys helping people find solutions for their training and behaviour problems with their dogs. As well as having some fun doing agility and other sport programs.
